This is a ripe expression of Chardonnay with ripe, tropical fruits and a generous amount of oak used during maturation. There is enough ripe, melon and peach flavour to stand up to the oak though the elements at the moment are still disjointed. Petaluma White Label Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is a is a bright, fruit forward wine, and has lovely citrus and stone fruits. The palate is dominated by grapefruit and melon, hints of white peach and is framed by crisp acidity and lovely subtle oak.
